Independence Day Celebration - 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Tatya saheb Kore Military Academy, Vinaynagar on 15th August 2025. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the CEO Shree Warana Vibhag Shikshan Mandal, Warananagar followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram.

In his inspiring address, the Commandant reminded the cadets of the supreme sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and urged them to uphold the values of discipline, unity, and service to the nation.

The cadets presented patriotic songs, speeches and Military Band activities showcasing the spirit of freedom and national pride. A special parade by the cadets added grandeur to the celebration.

The program concluded with the distribution of sweets and the collective pledge to serve the nation with dedication and integrity. Jai Hind!

Science Exhibition Activity

The Science Exhibition held at Tatyasaheb Kore Military Activity on /11 2025 was a grand showcase of creativity, innovation, and scientific curiosity. Students from Classes VI to X enthusiastically presented a wide range of models, experiments, and demonstrations based on themes such as Environmental Conservation, Renewable Energy, Space Science, Robotics, Health & Hygiene, and Everyday Science.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Commandant , Principal who appreciated the efforts of the young budding scientists. Students explained their models with confidence, highlighting scientific principles and real-life applications. Innovative projects such as working volcano models, electric circuits, water purification systems, solar-powered devices, thermal power station, wind mill , sensor road , colour sorter machine robotics demonstrations attracted special attention from visitors.

Parents, teachers and students from neighboring schools visited the exhibition and applauded the creativity and problem-solving skills of the participants. The event not only encouraged scientific thinking but also boosted teamwork, communication skills, and practical learning among students.

The exhibition concluded with a felicitation ceremony where the best models were awarded for creativity, innovation, and scientific relevance . The school congratulates all participants for their hard work and thanks the teachers for their guidance and support.

Motivational and Educational Tour to NDA, ARDE Pune and INS Shivaji, Lonavala

The cadets of Tatyasaheb Kore Military Academy , Vinaynagar ( Sainik School) embarked on an enriching educational tour to some of the most prestigious defence institutions of the nation — the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE), Pune and the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Shivaji, Lonavala.

The visit aimed to provide the cadets with first hand exposure to the defence insights, discipline and technical excellence that define India’s Armed Forces.

At NDA Khadakwasla, cadets witnessed the grandeur of the academy and learned about the rigorous training that transforms young aspirants into future officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The visit inspired the cadets to pursue their dreams of joining the defence services with renewed passion and determination.

At ARDE Pune, the cadets were introduced to the fascinating world of defence research and development. Scientists and technical experts explained the role of ARDE in designing and developing state of the art weapon systems and equipment for the Indian Armed Forces.

The tour concluded with a visit to INS Shivaji, Lonavala where cadets explored the technical training facilities for naval officers and gained insights into marine engineering and naval machinery operations.

Such visits play a vital role in motivating cadets to understand the value of discipline, leadership and service to the nation. The entire experience was highly educational with inspiration resulting into imprintment on the young minds of TKMA cadets.
