School Houses

At Tatyasaheb kore Military Academy, the House System forms the backbone of student life and discipline. Every cadet belongs to a House from the moment they join the school. The House system fosters leadership, responsibility, cooperation and a spirit of healthy competition in every cadet.

Cadets participate in all academic, co-curricular and sports activities through their Houses. Each House functions under the guidance of a House Master, House Tutors and Prefects who ensure the all-round development of cadets.

Our Houses

1. Shivaji House (Color: Blue)

Named after the great Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This house symbolizes bravery, discipline and leadership. Cadets of Shivaji House are known for their determination, courage and devotion to duty.

2. Sambhaji House (Color: Red)

Named after great Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. This house embodies discipline, integrity and calm leadership.

House Color: Red

3. Shahu House (Color: Green)

Inspired by Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj. This house stands for patriotism, strength and unity.

House Color: Green

4. Rajaram House (Color: Yellow)

Named after Chatrapati Rajaram Maharaj. This house represents intellect, creativity and culture.

House Color: Yellow

Inter-House Competitions

Throughout the academic year, cadets compete in a variety of inter-house competitions such as:

• Athletics, Football, Basketball and Cross Country
• Debate, Quiz and Essay Writing
• Drill, Parade and Obstacle Course Competitions
• Cultural and Art Competitions

Points are awarded to each house for performance, discipline, cleanliness and participation. At the end of the year, the Best House Trophy is awarded to the house with the highest score.
