Tatyasaheb Kore Military Academy was established in the year 1997 with the noble vision of providing quality education combined with military discipline to young boys of India. The institution was founded under the inspiration of Hon. Dr. Vinayraoji Kore (Sawkar) and State Education Department, following the model of Central government Sainik Schools across the nation.
The school was set up with the primary objective of preparing students for the entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other leadership roles in civil and defence services.
The idea of establishing such an institution arose from the belief that true education must develop the mind, body and character. Inspired by the principles of discipline, patriotism and service to the nation, the Sainik School was envisioned as a cradle for nurturing future officers, scholars and responsible citizens.
Over the years, the school has grown into a centre of excellence, balancing academics, military training and co-curricular development.
